17 Feb 78 - Reese is 1st Pilot Training Base to get Instrument Flight Simulators for T37 & T38

Mid 1991 - Reese is 1st base to offer Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT). This is where the student is actually trained for the type duty they have been chosen for (ie:Bomber, Fighter, Tanker or Transport)

Oct 1991 - SUPT concept of training begins at Reese

15 Feb 92 - The first T-1A  Jayhawk arrives at Reese
